Sunday Funday

After spending the week indoors, sheltered from Sandy’s rain wrath, we finally made it out into the world this weekend. We saw a great Day of the Dead art exhibit on Friday night, ran boring errands during the day on Saturday, and had friends over last night to play Battling Tops, drink Yards, and eat homemade nachos. Now for football and hoagies and more beer!

I’m in the market for  a new leather bag. What do you think of these?

Make your own moon pinata.

Be sure to follow If We Don’t, Remember Me on Tumblr. It’s a gallery of moving stills from movies and it’s so fun to go through and see which ones you recognize.

Ever wonder what edible graffiti looks like?

I’m obsessed with almost every necklace in the Anthropologie line right now.

Have you ever tried a salmon frank? We picked some up from Whole Foods this weekend. The texture is so similar to hot dogs and it’s a great substitute from pescetarians.

This yoga tote looks super cute and super useful. I would love it for my commute because I often go straight to yoga class after work.

Eggplant has been my go-to veggie these past few weeks. I highly recommend this recipe.

These Julia Child notecards would make a great gift for a friend who likes to cook.

Lucille Ball still cracks me up.

What do you have in store for this week? I’m looking forward to less rain, more sun, and mostly for this presidential campaign to come to an end. Cheers!

Thanks for the link, you’ve reminded me how lovely that chilli aubergine dish was. On the menu this week I think!! Oh and the butterscotch Zara shopper definitely….;)

Thanks, Natalie! I’ve made it twice in as many weeks.
